What does sponsorship look like?

The school year in Uganda is split up into three terms through a calendar year. To sponsor a girl through a whole year of schooling costs $900 ($300 per term or $75/month). The sponsorship cost covers school fees, boarding, and required materials. For those in primary or secondary school, materials include uniforms, books, bedding, etc. For those in trade school for tailoring or hairdressing, materials include things like books, needles, braids, etc.
